Memoirs of a Coder #2
No comments yet Posted in Memoirs of a CoderIt’s been a quiet week, largely spent traveling, drinking beer and nursing hangovers. But the world doesn’t stop moving.
- Here’s a piece of wisdom: The longer you search for something, the lower your standards & expectations get. If you don’t find what you want quickly, move onto the next thing that needs doing and come back to it.
- I went to, and enjoyed the hell out of dConstruct, which is a sizeable conference in Brighton, England. The focus was on looking forward, but I came away feeling more inspired than ever before.
- I started re-building Kodery in WordPress, fully intending on utilising the built in functions like categories, API’s, search and roles. I shal blog about the process at some point.
- I registered for two meetups in London next week, one is Creative Meetup hosted by Sarah Parmenter and the other is London JS, held at the London office of the world famous Poke agency. If you’re at either, say hi! :)
